FUN FRIDAY WITH LAURA LINDA BRADLEY – ACTRESS, WRITER AND STAR OF AMAZON'S THE LAURA SHOW!
Laura Linda Bradley is an American Emmy Award Winning Actress, Writer and star of Amazon's highly successful series 'The Laura Show'. Best known for her witty and charming sense of humour, Laura has also shown great diversity and depth through many acting roles, most notably in the 2016 Emmy award winning film 'Active Shooter'.
Laura has captured the hearts of stage and film and has become one of young Hollywood's fastest rising triple threats. Having just finished Season 2 of 'The Laura Show', which Laura wrote, produced and starred in, the show was met with huge success, having won Best Actress, Best Writer, Best Director, Best Series and Best Supporting Actress at the West Side Tower Film Festival. Laura claims her writing has made her a better actress and we can easily see why. Laura is real, compassionate, hands on and one hundred percent heart and soul. Refreshingly honest, 'The Laura Show' encompasses wholeheartedly the relatability of millennials, through humour driven from a female perspective, which we can't love enough.
In addition to Laura's highly successful and busy acting career, she still finds time to support numerous Eco - Conscious charities that are close to her heart. Laura is a proud WildAid Ambassador where her great love of animals is distinct through her very passionate work for WildAid, whose mission is to end the illegal wildlife trade in our lifetimes.
I sat down and had a chat with Laura and she was truly inspirational with a contagious passion, drive and spirit. Laura is currently working on Season three of 'The Laura Show' which premiers in January next year and we cannot wait. Laura is a true star both inside and out.
- Please introduce yourself!
Hi!!! My name is Laura Linda Bradley, I'm an LA based actress and writer. I'm currently working on Amazon's The Laura Show.
- What inspired you to start your business/blog/career?
I'm a born performer; ask anyone who knew me growing up! After working in LA, I saw first hand the limited opportunities for "funny girls". I started writing and toying around with ideas and quickly took my career into my own creative hands. I couldn't have imagined the response to the show, and how it would have grown in two short years!
- Describe your typical working day!
Every day is different!!! That's one of my favourite parts of being a creative, every day is an adventure. Some days I'm on set for 16-18 hours, other days I'm writing from home. Some days are filled with auditions and meetings, no two days are ever the same.
- Secret FUN fact that we may not know about you?
I was home schooled; my first day in a conventional classroom was college.
- Favourite Colour?
Pink.
- What or whom adds colour to your life?
My beautiful family! I couldn't be more grateful for the life I've been blessed with!
- Five things you cannot live without?
Family, Friends, Laughter, My pets, My career and dance.

- Favourite place in the world?
It's impossible to pick just one, I love to travel!! Getting to explore new cities, discovering the little hidden gems that make that city special and unique, there's nothing better!
- If you could give your younger self one piece of advice what would it be?
The hard work pays off; stay focused on your dreams!
- Positive influence/s on your life?
My Mom! She's amazing, she's always encouraged me to follow my dreams and do what I love!
